Duties and Responsibilities

As an accounts manager, you’ll be asked to perform accounting and clerical tasks for the maintenance and processing of accounts transactions. In addition, you also may:

– Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to pay the obligations of the company;
– Assemble invoices to be completed for payment;
– Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval;
– Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files;
– Type periodic reports and other records;
– Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures;
– Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments;
– Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers;
– Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures;
– Reconcile bank statements;
– Prepares company and client tax forms and data while offering tax accounting advice to both clients and internal company departments;
– Maintains and updates working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company-specific information;
– Prepares tax accruals for company records and accounts;
– Develops strong relationships with clients, including understanding their business practices and specific tax information needs;
– Assists with preparing annual financial records, including meeting deadlines and ensuring all financial practices and records comply with accepted accounting standards;
– Works with financial management officials to develop tax strategies that involve both incentives and tax-compliance recognitions;
– Create and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recordation of fixed assets;
– Recommend to management any updates to accounting policies related to fixed assets;
– Assign tag numbers to fixed assets;
– Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets;
– Other tasks that assign by supervisor.


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

+ Experience:
– At least 2 years of experience in a field of accounting.

+ Education:
– Bachelor Degree in Accounting

+ Skills/Competencies:
– Knowledge in Computer Word and Advanced Excel; and
– Good written and spoken English

+ Personal Qualities:
– Flexible and good at initiation;
– Good attitude, honest, and high accountability for the task; and
– A team player.
