STUDY IN Germany

Germany is the ideal country to be studying abroad, it has a rich and complex history, an invigorating culture and fun loving people, and something every student looks forward to in a new country. Germany is a very diverse and interesting country in almost every aspect therefore it’s worth exploring its natural as well as intellectual resources. The education system is highly focusing on its international domain, thus the number of international students coming to study in this country is ever-rising. Almost every University in Germany has incorporated in its curricula an international study program where lectures from all around the world come to share their expertise, mainly in English language as an international language but in German language as well.  In most of these Universities learning German language through intensive courses is a mandatory piece of the module, therefore the benefits double immediately.

COST OF LIVING

Compared to other European countries, the cost of living in Germany is quite reasonable. The prices for food, accommodation, clothing, cultural events, etc. are basically in line with the EU average. You will need around 850 euros a month to cover your living expenses. The largest expense is your monthly rent. You are expected to spend money on insurances and semester contribution which is a requirement from every university; however, the cost may vary.

 

COST OF STUDYING

The majority of higher education institutions in Germany is financed by the state. As a rule, fees do not apply to Bachelor’s courses or to most Master’s courses offered at state higher education institutions. Study fees may apply to specific continuing education Master’s programmes, which are not, however, particularly high when compared with other countries. Higher fees may be charged for studies completed at private higher education institutions.
